deskscribe software package provides A suite of tools for recording a user's desktop activity, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install deskscribe
deskscribe is installed in your system.
Make ensure the deskscribe package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep deskscribe *
You will get with deskscribe package name, version, architecture and description in a table
